Why Should I Join?

Founded June 2011 and Incorporated as a non-profit 501c6 organization in November of 2011.  A group of progressive restaurateurs gathered at Casa Rustica to discuss the influx of chain restaurants to the area.  Not fearing the increased competition, but rather than to increase our awareness.  Owners from Pepper’sCasa RusticaMakoto’sRed OnionTapp RoomTown Tavern, and much more were at the original meeting.  We decided that to remain competitive with the huge operating budgets of the national chains; Each restaurant would combine resources as well as tax-deductible donations from other businesses and individuals.  BIR uses the combined resources to maintain effective marketing and educate member business owners on industry trends and other industry specific information.
